Welcome!

Rapidly engage your clients in assessment and treatment with the KST

The Kvebaek Sculpture Tool provides a simple and appealing way to rapidly involve clients in sharing their story.  The process of family sculpting offers an accurate and efficient means to assess family systems.  How it works: Clients are invited to choose figures from available semi-abstract objects to represent themselves and others in their family (or network). Then they are asked to place these figures to show how it feels to them in their life just now.  Clients of any age — even non-verbal ones — are usually comfortable showing their relationships by picking up and placing these inanimate, but symbolic, objects.

The training and the KST Set we offer are an outgrowth of collaboration between the Norwegian creator of the original Kvebæk Family Sculpture Test, other colleagues, and the American social worker who founded KST Associates. (Kvebæk is pronounced either kvay’beck or que’bek.) We at HealthyHumanSystems.com are enriched through ongoing international exchange with professionals on several continents.
